Car build 2013 almost done - Nice shots!

Some nice pictures after the big build realized during the last 3 months...

Build 2013 (Part 9) - Engine performance parts

In order to reduce the temperature between the cylinder head and the intake manifold, some spacer have been installed. An oil cooler and a thermostat have been mounted to guarantee that the oil temperature stays in a good range.

A catted down pipe and a heat shield have been installed as well, and the air intake has been upgraded.

Note the bar to fix the seat belts and the flexible tunes to bring some fresh air on the new brake rotors.

Build 2013 (Part 8) - Reinforcement bars

Some reinforcement bars have been mounted. The control arms in the rear have been replaced to allow more adjustment. The a power steering brace has been mounted to get a more direct response.

Note that an additional bar must be added to the roll cage in order to mount the seat belts.

Build 2013 (Part 7) - New parts and remounting of the seats

Some new parts are mounted in order to improve the performance of the car: a 255 L/H fuel pump, a bigger water cooler and new drilled brake rotors. In order to bring fresh air on the brakes, some air duct are mounted.

Note that the final touch has been put to the roll cage and the the seats have been remounted as well.

Build 2013 (Part 6) - Assembly of the roll cage

The roll cage is now painted and mounted inside the car. Some final touch must be done to finish the roll cage installation and painting...
